Bible Month at Casa Bernabé
Every August, our school celebrates Bible Month, a special time to help our students grow in their love and excitement for God's Word.
We kicked off the month with a Bible-themed parade. Our preschoolers dressed up as Noah's Ark, while each grade represented a different Bible story. Many classes even created banners featuring Bible verses to carry as they walked together through campus. The parade ended with the entire school gathered on the basketball court to pray together.
Throughout the month, each grade also invited a staff member to share a special devotional during their regular class devotion time. The fun continued with Bible trivia, memorized Scripture recitations, Biblical character presentations, and a Bible search competition to see who can find specific verses the fastest.
Bible Month is about more than memorizing verses or winning competitions. We want God's Word to be something our children are excited about, familiar with, and eager to make part of their everyday lives. At Casa Bernabé, the Bible is a regular part of our day-to-day life, and we're grateful for the opportunity to learn from it together.
