The Newest Ministry of Casa Bernabé
The newest ministry at Casa Bernabé is focused on a group that is often overlooked, our young adults. While we're so thankful each time people invest in our younger kids and our staff, sometimes the 18-30 year old group on campus can lack intentional care and discipleship because they are all busy pursuing jobs, education, and their futures, and they are rarely together on campus.
Recently, a team from a local church in Guatemala felt called to invest in them. Every other Monday evening, they come to Casa Bernabé to spend time with young adults from across our community, including residents of our transition homes, our 18+ year olds working on campus, house helpers, and younger staff members.
The evenings include games, worship, a message, and a snack, creating a space where young adults can grow in their faith and encourage one another. Together, they discuss topics such as identity in Christ, finding God's calling for their lives, and what it means to live a godly life as an adult.
This group has become a special opportunity for Casa Bernabé's young adults from different jobs, universities, and roles to come together and worship the Lord. We are so thankful for the people God brings to Casa Bernabé who faithfully invest in every generation of our community.
