Casa Samuel
To be fully funded monthly, each of our houses needs one House Sponsor ($2,000/month) and 12 Child and Family Sponsors ($120/month each). Casa Samuel currently has a House Sponsor but is in need of additional Child and Family Sponsors. Situated at the top of the hill is Casa Samuel. Moisés and Lucky serve as the house parents, each bringing unique strengths to the home. Lucky previously worked as one of the psychologists at Casa Bernabé and brings an abundance of joy, wisdom, and care to the boys. Moisés has also stepped into his role with grace, offering a calm and peaceful presence that has helped bring stability to the house.
The boys love spending time outdoors playing basketball, soccer, and marbles. The younger boys can often be found riding bikes or playing with toy cars around the house. The boys are very competitive by nature and frequently enjoy playing board games.
The older boys have taken on more responsibility as some of the other young men age out of Casa Bernabé. They help with additional chores and care for the younger boys, stepping into leadership roles.
At this time, Casa Samuel does not yet have a house helper for the year. We continue to pray that the Lord will provide the right person — someone who will care for, support, and pour into these boys with consistency and love.
