Casa Hosana
To be fully funded monthly, each of our houses needs one House Sponsor ($2,000/month) and 12 Child and Family Sponsors ($120/month each). Casa Hosana currently has a House Sponsor but is in need of additional Child and Family Sponsors. To see how close Casa Hosana is to reaching full funding from Child and Family Sponsors, check the progress bar below.
Casa Hosana’s house parents, Wilmer and Fernanda, have just completed their first year serving in Casa Hosana, though they spent many years faithfully serving in Casa David prior to this role. They serve alongside their two daughters, Emili (13) and Mercy (10), making Casa Hosana a lively and loving home.
Casa Hosana is home to ten girls ranging in age from 5 to 20. This year, the house is welcoming a new house helper, Flori, who also serves in our Vocational Program. Over half of the girls in Casa Hosana have special needs, and Wilmer and Fernanda are thoughtful and creative in finding ways to keep the girls engaged, stimulated, and supported.
With Wilmer serving as our soccer coach, the girls can often be found playing soccer around campus. Fernanda also plays on our women’s team and loves cheering on the girls from the sidelines. The girls enjoy competitive activities and frequently play volleyball together too.
Structure is important in Casa Hosana, and the girls take their chores seriously as part of their daily routine. They also love gathering together for movie nights and have recently been enjoying watching thriller movies together.
