Casa Ester
To be fully funded monthly, each of our houses needs one House Sponsor ($2,000/month) and 12 Child and Family Sponsors ($120/month each). Casa Ester has a house sponsor, but is still in need of additional Child and Family Sponsors. The Casa Ester family includes house parents Danny and Nancy, along with their two daughters, Kecky (12) and Paula (10). They serve alongside their new house helper, Carla, who is also a teacher at the school. Together, they care for eight girls. Casa Ester is full of laughter and joy, made possible by the dedication, love, and hard work that Danny and Nancy continually pour into the girls.
Casa Ester has a very laid-back atmosphere, and the family truly enjoys spending time together. Movie nights are a favorite, complete with their big projector and plenty of snacks. The younger girls love playing outside together. Games like hide-and-seek and playing house are always popular, while the older girls enjoy playing soccer and volleyball.
After school, the girls take turns doing homework and helping with household chores. Danny and Nancy frequently lead worship at church, and some of the girls have begun singing and dancing as part of the worship team. It is beautiful to see the entire Casa Ester family helping lead the rest of Casa Bernabé in worship together.
