Casa Daniel
To be fully funded monthly, each of our houses needs one House Sponsor ($2,000/month) and 12 Child and Family Sponsors ($120/month each). Casa Daniel has a house sponsor, but still needs additional Child and Family Sponsors. The house parents of Casa Daniel are Anthony and Mildred Guerra, along with their two sons, Edwar (3) and Tiago (1). The boys in this house have loved taking turns holding baby Tiago whenever they can. Javier continues to serve faithfully as the house helper in Casa Daniel while also helping in the kitchen.
Anthony and Mildred have stepped into their roles as house parents with great patience and care. They keep the boys in a consistent routine and encourage plenty of outdoor time to help burn off extra energy. Each evening before dinner, Casa Daniel, along with Casa David, can be found running laps around campus, turning exercise into a fun group activity.
Mildred lives right next door to her sister, Vivian, who serves as the house mom in Casa David. The two spend many of their days together watching the boys, sharing life, and cooking meals side by side. The boys in Casa Daniel have especially been enjoying playing marbles and jumping on the new trampoline outside their house.
